Newmont Mining Company's North American Operations is pleased to recognize Comanco Environmental and its employees for your role in keeping the projects you worked on for the Nevada Operations Projects team accident free in 2009.

The "0" AIFR (All Injury Frequency Rate) achieved by the Nevada Operations Projects team and its contractors for 2009 is truly an outstanding accomplishment and it is something we can all be proud of.

COMANCO takes delivery of John Zink flare for Santa Fe City New Mexico

COMANCO's project team has started the installation of a John Zink equipment skid and flare at the Caja del Rio landfill in Santa Fe, NM. The arrival of the equipment marks an important milestone in the project's development which has included 4957 lf of gas collection header, 5000 lf of 2" air supply line, 2007 lf of lateral pipe and 15 drilled vertical extraction wells. Project Manager Clayton Lung is overseeing this City of Santa Fe project and estimates that completion will be reached mid-March 2010.
